Chapter 4

Once loading my bag and accepting my boarding pass I knew there was no turning back. I sat and waited for my flight to be called, nervous as ever. I tapped my toe on the floor and made a beat. I joked around a little and even bobbed my head to it. I stopped and smiled, "I got an idea."
I pulled out a notepad and pen and started writing a new song. I listened to it over in my head and wrote the words down as they came pouring out of my head. I ran over what I had for the chorus and sang it out loud, "Why don't you tell him that I'm leaving, never looking back again. You found somebody who does it better than he can. No more making you cry. No more them gray skies. Girl we flying on the g-5, g-5. And we're leaving never looking back again. So call your shawty you tell him you found a new man. The one who's so so fly. The one to keep you high. Have you singing all night, like that..."
"Is that new", I heard a girl's voice say. I looked up and saw a beautiful blond with dark brown eye and a sweet smile with light pink lips. She had a sparkle in her eye when she smiled and I felt like an idiot, "Um... no... I mean yeah... I just thought of it."
She sat next to me and read the lyrics over, "It sounds good. Is it the chrous?"
"I hope so", I said with a smile, "I'm Jesse..."
"McCartney, I know", she said with a smile, "I'm Chelsea Staub."
"Oh I knew I've seen you before", I said as she shook my hand, "You're in that movie on Disney Channel... uh..."
"Minutemen", she said, "Yeah, that's me."
"Oh, well I liked the movie alot... you're great... at acting", I turned my head and scowled myself, it's not like I alaways came across pretty girls like this. I shook my head and turned to face her again, "It needs something though..."
Chelsea looked at the notebook, "What is it about?"
I read what I had for the chorus over and over again, "Uh... a girl who finds another guy she likes, but doesn't know what to do. She can stay with one or... leave with the so fly guy."
I smiled in Chelsea's direction and she giggled, "Well, I can't help you there. I have no talent to write music at all."
I smiled, "I bet you could if you..."
"Hey Chelsea", I heard a guy's voice say. I looked past Chelsea as she stood up, "Joe..."
"You left your purse in the car", Joe said as he handed her her purse. chelsea looked at it, "Oh... thanks Joe. I don't know how I could have possibly forgotten that."
I sat back, Joe Jonas. Yeah he was a cool guy and everyone liked him, but he had her... why did I even care?!
"Oh Joe..." Chelsea said as she pulled me up next to her, "This is Jesse. Jesse this is..."
"Hey man good to see you again", Joe said as he stuck his hand out to me. I smiled and shook his hand, "Yeah long time no see."
Chelsea folded her arms, "I should have guessed that you guys have met before."
Joe gave her a side hug, "Don't worry about it, babe."
"Now boarding zone A, none stop to Paris", a woman said over the speakers. I looked at my ticket, zone A, "Well I guess I best be loading on."
"Yeah me too", Chelsea said as she picked up her carry on. I looked at her and she looked at me. We pointed at each other and said at the same time, "You're going to Paris?"
We both laughed and I smiled, "Well I guess it's a small world after all."
Chelsea giggled, "Yeah."
"Well", Joe said in a louder tone that made us both look at him, "I guess I'll be seeing you two later on. Bye Chels."
"Bye Joe", she said as she kissed him. Joe wrapped his arms around her and deepened it. I turned and nodded to other people walking by me as they stared at Chelsea and Joe. Once Chelsea broke away she smiled, "I'll call you when I land."
"Okay, I love you", Joe said as he kissed her again. Chelsea picked up her bag and said quickly as she walked away, "I love you too."
I let Chelsea board ahead of me and I started to follow up behind her when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and became face to face with Joe. He patted my shoulder, "Hey man, take care of her for me, please? I don't want anything happening to her."
I nodded, "I'll take good care of her."
"Thanks man", Joe said as he patted my shoulder again. I turned and boarded on the plane, sitting next to chelsea. We both strapped in and I looked out my window. Chelsea started to look out but couldn't. I turned, "You want to trade seats with me so you can see?"
Chelsea smile, "Are you sure?"
"Totally", I started to unbuckle and switch seats. Chelsea slide under me and looked me right in the eyes as I passed over her. We both smiled and she giggled as I quickly sat in her seat as the flight attendant came over in speaker, "Ladies and gentlmen, thank you for choosing international flight. Please remain sitting and buckle in you seat belts as the sign shows. Tugg to make tighter or looser. In case of emergancy an oxygen mask will fall down and life jakcets are under your seat. Please make sure you are set before helping others. Once again ladies and gentlemen thank you for flying with us. None stop till we land in Paris, France..."
