The National Ledger has an article on Jesse and his relationship with former Summerland co-star Zac Efron:
Jesse, whose new album, Departure, is in stores now, tells In Touch. "I'm really happy for him - he's such a laid-back, humble person." One move that won Jesse's respect? When Zac passed on making a solo album that would've cashed in on his High School Musical success.

Check out this from Contact Music, here's a quote from Jesse:
"I find a woman who can cook very sexy. I've always cooked with my ex-girlfriends and it's one of my favourite things to do. So girls, my message to you is get busy in that kitchen and we can take it from there!" American pop star JESSE MCCARTNEY is looking for a woman with culinary skills.

Check out the recent interview andPop did with Jesse McCartney. In it Jesse talks about his reasons for calling the album "Departure":
"There have been departures in my career, in my personal life. I've learned a lot since doing my first couple of records. I think I've landed in the most comfortable place I've ever been musically as the style of music, my vocals and the lyrical content of the songs on this album."

Jesse posted a new blog post on his stay in Europe:
Day 6 & 7: We went to a city in Germany called Mainz, where the big German TV station ZDF is based. On Saturday we rehearsed and Sunday performed on a show called Fernsegarten. It's nothing like anything on US TV and the show was a trip.. They tell me its a popular show but it had a crazy assortment of performers, from pop singers to ballroom dancers in tuxedos and gowns, to things I can only describe as weird human tricks like stacking dice with a cup and bungee diving trapeze dancers. The stage I performed on was on the edge of a swimming pool. No special reason. The whole experience was totally surreal. Afterwards we drove to Munich, where we had a satisfying meal of weinerschnitzel and weitzen beer.
