The new film "Keith" is one best enjoyed by those who know nothing about the plot. The movie's characters experience twists and turns, flavored with adversity and triumph, that often leave their future in doubt.

It seems only appropriate, then, that Jesse McCartney's long-awaited film debut should finally emerge after nearly a half-decade of similar uncertainty.

"Making an independent film is a slow process," writer/director Todd Kessler said while speaking with MTV News this week, remembering the film's lengthy birthing process. "You have to pull in all your favors. You have to wait for free equipment to be available and this and that, and you just do it one step at a time."

Here a little piece of an article i read about Jesse performance in Las Vegas on Sep 13.

 

"Actually I turned 21 in Las Vegas last April, and I partied at LAX. That's why they asked me to come back," he said.

I asked him what he did on his birthday here. With his mother observing, he smiled:

"I gambled, drank lots of chocolate milk and got to bed at a reasonable hour every night."

"I'm not a huge gambler, but I like blackjack, and I know how to play now. And I love Texas hold 'em. I lost all my money yesterday playing blackjack," a loss of "a couple hundred."

This season, he will be featured in a one-episode arc on "Law & Order: SVU" as - a murder suspect.

"I'm playing a Christian boy who ended up ..." he said, but I promised not to reveal the outcome to you.

As you see, he is twisting his Disney image - portraying a heavy on "Law & Order: SVU," appearing officially at a club and making more mature videos.

Jesse McCartney is set to perform live at the Edmonton Oil Kings Enmax Opening NIght, Friday, Sep 19 at Rexall Place. Jesse will peform during both intermissions of the Oil Kings game.

" I'm stoked to be playing the Oil Kings Opener. One of my best friends plays hockey in canada and i've been to a bunch of his games. I'ts great support. There's no doubt were going to put on a wicked show at Rexall Place next Friday."

Hey Jesse Fans,

I thought that you should know that since Jesse movie "Keith" premiered in Las Vegas, it has since been floating around the internet. It seems as though someone has captured the whole movie.  If you happen to come across this video on the internet, PLEASE DO NOT SEE IT!

I am asking this because if Jesse's movie "Keith" premieres world wide Jesse will need all the support from his fans to go to the theaters and see it.

It's  just the same when you download one of Jesse songs illegally instead of buying his album.

So please if you happen to come across the video, DONT see it , wait until the Movie comes out in theaters world wide or on video/dvd.
